Companion Home Care of Long Island was established in 2004 when my own family was going through the decision making for the care of a loved one.

We needed someone to assist with daily activities that had become difficult. Health care wasn't necessary and a housekeeper, well, they keep house.

Having to juggle our own busy schedules along with caring for a loved one was exhausting and our families were feeling neglected.

Our mission: To have qualified, experienced, compassionate caregiver's with a verifiable track record to assist when a family member isn't able to be there. We demand the same quality care for your loved one as we do our own.

This means carefully screened and interviewed to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality care that they deserve.

Our screening process includes; a written test, a thorough interview, verification of all references, criminal & Department of Motor Vehicle background checks, and an I-9 verification.

CHC is bonded and insured and hires their employees directly taking care of all federal and state taxes, as well as Workman's Compensation insurance.

We guarantee our clients' complete satisfaction with the caregiver placed and we will make a replacement, if necessary.
